The studio owner, Greg Kirwan, stepped aside in December 2021.
We are so grateful for all Greg has done to see All That Matters through these challenging, unprecedented times., and to Joan Dwyer and Jeanne Wettlaufer, the founders and original goddesses of All That Matters back in 1995, who had a big vision to open a small yoga studio with a big heart to inspire inner peace that leads to world peace....because that's all that matters.
Now, the course is changing. There’s magic in the air…
We are VERY excited to announce this new chapter for the All That Matters community as we journey into 2022. We will remain at 315 Main Street, Wakefield Village – the All That Matters home for 26+ years. We will no longer hold yoga classes at The Kenyon Annex. We are adjusting the yoga schedule to add more classes to 315 Main Street using the new Lotus Room, Lily Room and reopening the Sunflower Room. Annex classes will move to 315 Main Street- there will inevitably be some small tweaks to the schedule in early 2022. The retail store will be “reimagined”.

The odds of a new independent supermarket making it in a small New England town are long at best–especially when it sets up shop midway between a thriving Shaw’s and Super Stop & Shop. But then the oddsmakers didn’t figure on Jack Siravo. He’s taken Belmont Fruit, his family’s wholesale and produce business seasonal fruit stand, and turned it into Belmont Market, Wakefield, R.I.’s premier supermarket shopping experience.
Established in 1947 as a seasonal fruit and vegetable stand, Belmont was named by Siravo’s grandfather, “a great aficionado of the ponies,” after New York’s famed Belmont Park racetrack.
Belmont Market boasts the best bakery in town–not only because items like the scones are made in-store from scratch, but because it features products delivered from the best bakeries throughout Rhode Island.
Because Belmont runs its own wholesale produce operation and sources locally whenever possible, its product is often fresher than its chain store counterparts. “We work with many local farmers and try to keep it as downhome-farmstandy as possible, but in very chic kind of surroundings,” Siravo says.

At a meeting held at the home of Elisha Watson, Jr. on the evening of February 28, 1839, a resolution was passed unanimously by a group of interested persons "to establish an Episcopal Church in the Village of Wakefield" to be called the Church of the Ascension. That first church was a wooden frame building standing about one half mile from the corner on which the church now stands and was consecrated on Ascension Day, June 3, 1840. The building was destroyed in 1935.
The present church was built on the Main Street - Kenyon Ave. site and consecrated in June 1883. With the exception of the bell tower and the enclosed entrance and ramp, the exterior has remained the same for more than 125 years.

Homes are my passion! Ever since I was a little girl, I would walk by a house and imagine what it looked like inside. My mom loved antiques! So, I grew up with old and new in the home.
I believe a home reflects the personality of the people who live in it.
Most people know what they like and know the colors that grab them, and they have a preference between modern and let’s say vintage. But, a lot of people just don’t know how to pull it all together.
That is where my talent comes in.
I have been told for most of my adult life that I should be a decorator. So here I am at age 62, doing what I absolutely love! My mobile shop is a 1954 Bellwood Aloha Camper. I sell my wares out of it and use it to advertise what I can do. I love mixing the old with the new and can do many different styles. My favorite style is Cottage Chic, hence the name of my business. I am a picker. I love textiles and I can do old world nautical and coastal chic. It all depends on you! I collaborate with many talented people to transform that perfect piece for your home.
I am also the owner of a Victorian cottage on Block Island called the Island Jewel. Come experience the world of Cottage Chic Décor by staying at their boutique rental on beautiful Block Island. Click here to learn more.
I grew up in a boating family and spent so much of my life on Block Island. I call Narragansett, Rhode Island home. Living on the beautiful New England coast has inspired me and influenced my decorating style.
I consult for free. I can decorate a whole house, a room, or help you find pieces for your home or cottage.

Sand Hill Cove
Sand Hill Cove, (now Roger Wheeler State beach), made this shop. Summer days and some evenings on that beach shaped me. I've wanted to wear beach treasure since I was a little girl. If I wasn't in the water with my sister and my cousins, I was on the hunt.
My love of the sand, sea and salt air has only deepened. I hope this little shop brings a bit of soothing to your soul, a piece of the beach vibe to carry with you always.

Art has always played a major role in my life. As a child, my parents nurtured my creative abilities and desires by enrolling me in private art lessons. Many different avenues opened as I progressed through my work. I continued my art education through study at The Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA, Rowan University of Glassboro, NJ and The University of Rhode Island in Kingston, RI, from which I hold a BFA.
Throughout the years, I have explored a variety of mediums, including: three-dimensional design, photography, illustration, printmaking, pottery, and painting in oils, acrylics and watercolor. I enjoy creating work that captures the essence of a place, time, or an individual subject’s personality. When developing a work of art, I am always mindful of my use of color, light and form to bring a piece to its finished point. The entire process of creating a work is thoughtful, moving, and can be frustrating and exciting all wrapped tightly leaving a precious little gift when completed.
Along with developing my own work. I have the privilege of encouraging young students to express their own creativity by teaching lessons in a variety of mediums. I currently offer art lessons for all ages out of my private studio.
It is a great blessing to me each and every day that I am able to explore, create, express and teach art. My hopes are to pass along the same joy and passion to others.

After 18 years at its original location, an old 1920s gas station, The Glass Station Studio and Gallery expanded in 2018 and moved down the street to its current space on Main Street in Wakefield, RI. We (owners Eben Horton and Jennifer Nauck) renovated an old auto showroom into an 1800+ square foot gallery space flooded with natural light. Our hot shop is attached to the gallery, giving visitors the opportunity to see the artists at work and even to try blowing glass for themselves in a class setting. Our new, larger gallery space enabled us to show not only our own work, but also work by some of our friends, talented glass blowers and jewelers from across the country.
Our gallery features a wide variety of art and functional objects, from small hostess gifts to large platters, vessels, and sculpture for the home or office. We are happy to help design custom lighting options for your home, from pendants lights for a kitchen to statement-size chandeliers.
Our goal is to become an arts destination in Southern New England, where visitors can learn about the history of American Studio Glass and find work by some of the top glass artists in the country.

The Rhode Island Weaving Center was established in December of 2020. While a new organization, it builds on a strong foundation. Starting two years ago, a group of long-time handweavers at the Saunderstown Weaving School started to discuss how to serve the ever-growing number of both beginner and experienced weavers. With leadership from the SWS, the decision was made to create a non-profit organization to expand the teaching and recognition of handweaving and other fiber arts. And hence the Rhode Island Weaving Center was born! In May the Center established its home on the second floor of the historic Kenyon's Department Store building, on Main Street in Wakefield, RI. A studio with multiple looms has been set up, and a series of classes—both beginning weaving and other fiber arts (potentially tapestry, rigid heddle, inkle weaving) will be offered this summer and fall.
The mission of the Rhode Island Weaving Center is to expand and advance the practice of handweaving through classes, workshops, exhibitions, collaborations, and weaving resources. The Center also serves as a location for other fiber artists to work and learn from one another. We are all volunteers, working together to promote handweaving and the fiber arts. We thank all of the hard work of the many, many volunteers who have helped us to open the Rhode Island Weaving Center.

“We don’t produce World War II films. We produce documentary films on individual personal stories from World War II. I think there’s a pretty significant difference.
We educate younger generations about the war. We do not approach this in ways WE think are best. We teach based on how students are actually learning and what tools THEY themselves are utilizing today to explore history, whether that be via strong visual storytelling in films that capture their attention and imagination, or utilizing new story telling technology such as Virtual Reality (VR).
We push out much of this content via Social Media channels, as well as via traditional national and international television networks. We film all these documentaries, narrated by some of the biggest names in television, music, sports and the movies, in the locations where they actually played out in the war. Often bringing back a veteran or survivor with us to where their own individual WWII story began and ended. Our studio is Europe, the Pacific and the Far-East.
We hope these award-winning films, which rank in the top-5 of most requested programs nationally by PBS and Public Television affiliates, will motivate not just students, but everyone to learn more about this critical time period in world history. The lessons of which still strongly resonate today. We make all these resources available for free to anyone who wants to explore World War II’s impact on the lives of those who lived through it.”
