Downtown Enhancement
As members of the Wakefield Village Association, your businesses will benefit from enhancement projects for Downtown Wakefield. Projects may include, lights on trees, banners, flowerpots, street maintenance, benches and anything else the members put forth for a vote and fit in the yearly budget.
Special Events
Community events to bring visitors to Downtown and establish Wakefield as a place to return to for shopping, dinning, and family fun. Existing events include RiverFire, the Halloween Stroll, and the Lights in the Village. Future events will be voted on by members.
Advertise on Social Media
Gain more reach and exposure through our marketing efforts. As we make strides in connecting with our community, we will advertise your businesses and events.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are an opportunity to meet other business owners, discuss ways to improve the Wakefield community, give input as to the yearly events and maintenance of our beautiful Historic Village. Meetings are now being held in person and virtually to give all members an opportunity to participate. All meetings will be posted on our events calendar and are open to all.
